Grid 3d model decorative

5 Aug, 2009 renderstuff (Staff Author)
Wooden decorative grid 3d model. Mostly used for covering heating radiators for hiding unsuitable openings and for adding an elegant interior element. Model is fully geometrical and high-polygonal, made without using any transparency maps which gives the grid the volume so it looks more realistic on the final rendering than with using raster maps in the opacity or refraction slots. Modeled in 3ds Max 2008. Rendered with V-Ray.

Oh, class! Thank you, guys, been looking for! And you can still use it and to create a transparency map?

Oh sure. In order to get a map transparency of this model, it is sufficient to visualize an empty stage, for example, a front projection or vyuporta with an orthogonal camera. And then switch to the alpha channel and save it as a transparency map😉
