Guys please help. I read the whole topic, but all I can not understand the construction of such a lamp. I have tried a lot of options. Well, that's all they give everyone there irregularities in general kosyachit allπŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚. The fact irregular grid. But in this case it has to do pravilnoy.Ya himself pattern profile made only with vertices Kohner to smoothing was not, and Boelen vychitala.Nu already even at this stage leave stains and all. And I would like to make another facet along the perimeter of the pattern) This is the zloschastnaya lamp. In fact logoritm build it seemed to me at first fairly easy, but when it came down to it. Everything is already not easy). In general once again, I need to cut the curved shape of the lamp pattern and make a chamfer with human grid). I already own pattern and cut out and Kut Shelom and Boelen. I tried to make it Plain. Probably not your hands grow from the right placeπŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚

Natalie, hey, work with your very kropotltvaya chandelier, grid need dense (as for me). I have sketched here, not like crawling. 1. Draw a plane, cut out pattern, connect vertices so that all polygons were square 2. Apply symmetry 3.Razmnozhaem, enclosure, merge seams 4. 5. Perhaps you need to one-quarter still apply, and the thickness of the cut bevel, and then propagated and spun to avoid doing unnecessary work. This option is of course under Turbosmuf, and we must be extremely careful - extra top and all crawled.

gus_ann, thank you very much I started to make yesterday a very fine mesh. I've already gone too far, even probably. But in my opinion this is the only way, of course there are probably other, but I do not knowπŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚ Here is what I have coming out

He checked turbosmufom like smooths out correctly, but I have not yet done chamfers. Scaling this deceptive thingπŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚. Here the grid and got a really well, very fineπŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚ in some places, but I will alter slightly. Do not think that it is not easy to be lyustrochkaπŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚ Thanks again, a lot of new and podcherpnul about tankard venerated yesterday, also helped)

Hi Ilshat,

What exactly is the problem? If you virtually "unroll " this lamp, you will see a rectangle with a repeating pattern of the tilted twig. Cut out one copy of the twig from the Plane, clone the resulting object the right number of times and stitch them into one long rectangle. All that remains further is to "roll" it into the cylinder.

Of course, you will need some math. Having a diameter of 8cm, we need to calculate the length of the rectangle for rolling, this will be 8cm * 3.14 = 251mm.

I have rolled with Blend modifier, but how to tilt it then? this is a problem, I suggest everyone to try to deal with it πŸ™‚

Ilshat, first turn the twig, and then stitch it, inscribing into a rectangle. Do not forget about the space near the edges; as you can see, there is a flat unperforated surface on top and the bottom.

I understood you, thanks for the solution, I wouldn't do that without your help πŸ™‚
