Renderstuff hello. Thank you very much for your answers and lessons, thanks to them many things became clear. But recently, using your universal settings, I was faced with a lack of shadows and reflections on the parquet surface. As can be seen from perekreplёnnogo render on the light parquet part no shadow and light reflection from the chairs, tables, and columns. Perceived as if the light penetrated through the table and chairs. How to get a beautiful shadow and reflection? Along the way, I would like to ask a question about wool on some subjects, particularly against dark floor and shelves. * It appears when I use the Adaptive subdivision, and when using Adaptive DMC all rendered clearly and without wool. Why is that? 🙂 Options: light settings: Vraysun + Vraysky - Light sources in round boxes - Thank you very much in advance! Good luck and prosperity!

Having dealt with the lack of shadows. It turns out some behind the scenes was the Omi. And affects it inexplicably, after removing everything was nice 🙂 But the question about the wool remained relevant. 🙂

Hello!

Omni - a standard light source 3ds Max. The analogue VrayLight Sphere.

In omni, always, by default, off the shading and light attenuation. That is why, he Relight scene, bleached shadows.

Adaptive DMC, is a method of anti-aliasing , other than Adaptive subdivision, of course, renders received one method will differ from renderings obtained otherwise.

More particularly, the Adaptive DMC provides a sharp image, its artifacts resemble a rash gray shadow.
Adaptive subdivision, on the contrary, gives a blurred image, its artifacts similar to dirt or wool.

How to remove the cotton wool to render , read our tutorial about Choice GI engines in V-Ray😉

I read, but still is not clear. Why with the same settings you get a very different result, where there is no wool?
