Hello! At the landfill, there are two sides. The front and back. The front side we see always, while at the back, there is a property becomes completely transparent. It is called the Back-face Sulling . Sometimes it is very convenient. For example, if you modeled the walls of the room and want to arrange the furniture, then making the reverse side of polygons invisible inside it, you can easily see what's inside it. To activate / deactivate this feature in 3ds Max, you need to select the desired object and press the right mouse button on it, selecting Object Proprties: You will see the corresponding window, but it ticked Bacface Cull: If it is necessary, the transparent polygons bekfeysy, if not, they are shown as well as the faces. Hopefully this will be understood.

The Marina, select the objects, click the right mouse buttons on one of them, select the "object properties". In the group of parameters "display properties", click on "by layer" button, it will turn into "by object". Now, the objects will become clear on the alt + x. You can also use tick "see-through"
