Hello!!! Yesterday came across your site - stayed until 5 am, what have you - it's just fantastic. He read almost all forum threads - you definitely better🙂🙂 I'm sorry, that is not on, but very urgently need to learn (in a branch of iron could not find where to leave a comment - PLEASE HELP) !!!!!!!! Recently I changed Phenom x6 percent from 1075 to 3770 i7 - performance rendering rose by an average of 25-30 per cent (I think it is certainly leave this percent) ... but the most important thing is to choose the video - was amd 5770 - bought hp quadro 2000 (4000 . UAH) and was terribly disappointed - almost no uludsheny (created scene - commonplace instructed trees, got about 10 million polygons).. Speed in 5.5-6fps viewports (old betrayed 3-3.5) - the price difference is huge, and the meager results. With regard to rendering I figured out (thanks to you). Prior to August 20 can deliver video and purchase something else - tell me that it is within 4000 UAH. Or it does not make sense to buy an expensive and cheaper to buy (but can spend all 4 thousand 🙂 🙂 🙂 :🙂. That computer configuration (I hope this is helpful). Perc i7 3770, 4x4 memory (16gb) 1333mhgz) ... Thanks in advance for your response and your time really looking forward to the response.

Hello!

On the game video card read here. On the quad there. Also, I advise you to read the GPU theme versus CPU rendering. There, too, described the "feasibility" of acquisition, the so-called professional video cards. Changing HD 5770, for anything else, now does not make much sense at all. I have a Radeon 6770 and the only thing that I recently encountered is that after the Catalyst update to the very last one, I stopped using the OpenGL driver in After Effects. But from OpenGL, in after, there is no tangible benefit, it's probably just a feature. So this defect is more a formality than a real problem and there is no sense to twitch with the video card. You can not buy for any money, now, a video card that will be much faster to twist the scene in the viewport than the one that you already had, and this is, rather, the limitation of the viewport engine than the hardware of the video card. If there is nowhere to spend money, but really want, then buy yourself an SSD drive larger. If you do not work with video, then there is no special need for it, but if your scenes are rather thunderous, at 100-300 meters or more, then the process of opening and saving them will be many times faster. This is not a critical factor, but it will become a pleasant plus.

As for the processor, we, in connection with the current volumes of rendering, purchased a few additional system specialists. For interest, too, took the vaunted i7 3770 and were disappointed. Compared to the Phenom II X6, the performance gain is from 15-20%, but the cost of the processors themselves is one-third (by 100 USD) more expensive 🙄

6770 (not a stripped-down, of course) is just a fairy tale rather than a card🙂 For my money fulfills itself on 100% quiet, cool, and in addition to the 3D Max enables you to play almost all the toys on the highest setting. So to spend more money does not make sense - still prof. graphics card will not give the desired growth

Hello, I have a question. Rummaged a bunch of information on the Internet, I read how our or our forums. As a result, there was a sensation - a new line of 500, 600 models of the GeForce, performance in the viewport 3DSMAXa Nitrose 2012 with the use of the engine is not much grown? I do not use VRay as render, working strictly under finalRenderom, this does not interest me RT technology and GPU renders scenes, I'm interested in a purely speed drawing scenes in the viewport max. I have a scene, 5.5 million polygons. It creates a long time, all the models that are made in her own hands, while creating I try to keep all the stacks, not kalapsirovat geometry. Also in the scene displayed texture maps, map resolution range from 1024 to 4096, but the average size of 2048. Max file on the screw weighs more than 200MB, the project itself with all operating time, with the right and necessary files perevolil 8 GB. The stage itself is loaded into the max for a long time. As a result, I am at the outlet: the scene in the viewport to rotate 8800GT with 512MB of video memory, 25 to 32 frames per second, it is in Shade mode. When the Realistika in the region of 3 - 6 frames. As in stage 4 of the light source, including 1 Mentalreevsky Skei cumstances inserted beauty. 🙂 Comp: I7 2600 3,2GHz, c 16gb RAM, GeForce 8800GT 512m. The question is, switching to a new video card GeForce GTX660Ti2gb what about productivity gains, whether it be serious at all?

Denis and you enjoy the miracle of the driver for N-videa Quadro® and Quadro FX? If you suddenly change will necessarily write =) http://www.nvidia.ru/object/maxtreme_workstation_ru.html (actually the driver itself)

Good day to all! I came across this site and spent 2 days reading everything. HUGE thanks to the creators !!! This valuable resource in setjan I have not met yet! I have a fairly modern computer: i7-3770K, overclocked to 4.5, 16 GB of RAM (1866 Mhz). no video. After reading on the website that the video card affects the skorot rendering while working in 3d max, I decided to check how much influence. He asked his companion on the day of the video card Asus Radeon HD7770 2048MB. Established. First I would like to compare just peretykaya monitor the built-in card HD7770, but it turned out that if you put the card into the computer, the built does not work 🤔 I do not know, should be so or not. Okay. Uploaded max, a huge stage with a bunch of geometry, light and glass. He started to turn, zoom, delete, select and move objects. tried then removed the video card in all Wireframe mode, Shaded, Realistic. Approximately remember how everything was moving. and tried to work with built-in. and it is not noticed almost no difference. Although the graphics core I overclocked the processor slightly, up to 1350 MHz, but this is nonsense ... Well Driver Nitrous viewport is. in short, I peshil card is not to take, I do not understand why it is. in the game, I do not play. basically working in 3d and treat a photo.

Hello! I said so , but I do not believe😁 As for the video-core processor, the family i7 processors, it is true, if there is a discrete graphics card, it does not work. As for your test, the faithful would not be a subjective perception and objective. For example, if you zaanimiroval camera, so that it flew around the stage and would be launched this animation as a test. In addition, for oektivnosti you should enable statistics by pressing "7" on the keyboard. Then you would have been able to follow the literal FPS viewport 🙄

Anton, I understand that my test - just my subjective perception. But for me it is important to the subjective, not objective perception. The differences I have not noticed, and which, by and large, I care how many FPS provides a map? smooth motion scenes in the windows, work comfortably, but what else do you want? Pay 5 thousand is not clear for me that nehochetsya. By the way, recently I learned that Intel made to its core HD video codecs. They have already appeared in 6th premiere built. Coding rate HD video on my HD4000 is 15 !!! Wow! This is a built-core! Not bad!

Yes, in general, that any business, but it would be more objective and just interesting statistics as "there is a difference", since you decided to do a test, to climb into the housing, insert vidyahu, pulling it from the other, etc. And sense to pay for "air" no. By the way, often raise the question of whether Crossfire works in 3ds Max. As I have time, I'll post the results of tests with screenshots, but I can say in advance that there is not working. I now have two AMD cards, from the second to the 3ds Max - to sense zero. At least in the Nitrous. But toys work with enthusiasm to both😁

I have a graphics card AMD Radeon ™ HD 6800.Stsenu With 1,5mln. polygons in the MAKS 2009 did not want to scroll through the viewport, in max 2012 though did not go far but you can scroll slowly braked to move the camera or the sun have to wait for 5 seconds until only vydelitsya.Anton wrote "I should Radeon 6770 and only with than I've recently encountered, is that after the upgrade Catalyst at the latest, I stopped working OpenGL driver in after Effects ", but also Radeon me, the card is probably weaker tell what it is you're there upgrade and what Catalyst and how change the driver on OpenGL and back (recently advised to try) and where more detail check out where the engine Nitros and how to turn it on or it built-? In general, tell me how to speed up the robot to my graphics card but SSD drive purchase, know the special drivers not, but what can you update ?
