Check the box «consider same object only», it will make VRayDirt map considered in «AO» only the geometry of the object to which the material is applied to the Dirt Map. Of course, the geometry of the object needs to be changed too, to themselves on the facades of something not taken into account.

Incited material kitchen cupboard with Vray Dirt. In the test stage it worked perfectly, but when it moved into the interior scene, Dirt begins to work properly. What could be the problem? thanks for answers

Hello! By your screenshot it is not clear what exactly you do not like, so it is not clear what exactly the effect you want to achieve. You have to test the stage there is little shade in the depths of notches on the inner perimeter of the frame on the facade and finishing - the dirt on the surface of the facades themselves? This is it? If so, then at least you have a check mark «invert normal», coercing VRayDirt not obscure recesses, but instead bulge. About this we see you on the plane of the facade. A dirt there because you have to, "the radius" is such a "dirty" texture of a cement (reflect_main.jpg).

Hi, I will clarify the issue. I can not understand why such a difference in the rendering of the door in different scenes. In the test stage texture scratches hardly seen, and these scratches interior scene appear 10 times stronger, while the geometry and material of the same. By the same at a value of 10-20-30 mm radius dirt appears only in the recesses, and at a radius of 50 mm, it immediately sharply "captures" the whole door. Regarding daw «invert normal», I put it to appear on the faces of the dirt, remove dirt if it is only at the intersections with other objects geometry

As you already know, the spread in the range of shading AO indicated « in scene units ». Perhaps, in a test stage «Display Unit Scale» different from that in your work. As a result, the difference in results in different number of times a multiple of this difference. In the test, for example, cm and working - mm. Here's a "10 timesÂ»đŸ˜

As for the 30mm and 50mm is nothing surprising, is just beyond the threshold between the grooves and lies in the range of 30mm - 50mm. You say that you deepen more, but then you should check whether there are on your geometry is not knocked transformation 😉
