Hello, help me understand. I draw the rectangle, I turn 2D endpoint of the binding, to the heights of one side trying to tie the Arc arc. The arc is drawn only larger than a semi-circle, and I have a slight bulge of one side of the rectangle. In general, you need a composite spline - Doug joins two vertices of one side of the rectangle (all elementary). The main condition - the top of the arc, and so forth-ka must emerge from the same point. This can be done only through a binding, but including it can draw an arc form only a semi-circle, and I have less. What's the catch?

ever, hi. Tried different options georeferenced (all included) - works fine.

Hello, Usco. Thank you very much for the answer, for caring, for wanting to help. But I still arc is drawn. It was hoped Vertex snap that you have used the same result. Moreover, experiment with other shapes, trying to tie to the arc rectangle - rectangle shrinks almost to the line (the side less than mm). Circles, NGony, rectangles, ellipses, etc. I can not build a small size when incorporated binding only with the size adjustment through Parametrs. Could it be some kind of glitch in the program, or is it (on that very hope) something with the settings?

Lay out the scene, I'll see what's there.

I do not know what to put, it is impossible to draw. I noticed a pattern: is highlighted anchor icon (for the endpoint of "square", to the vertex "cross" and the like) figure is not drawn. That spread, photographed with his arm held, it is released and the figure disappears. Spline emerges only when increases its anchor lights and disappears, in other words, when she disappears binding.

Jot down a couple of splines enabled binding. Save the "maksovsky" file in a convenient place for you. Lay this file for file sharing. -How Do this: 1) Go to website http://files.mail.ru/ 2) Click on the button to download the file -> Choose the file that you saved with the extension .max -> Wait for the process. 3) Click on the button that appears below [Get Link]. 4) Copy the link and paste into the discussion here. I want to open your file in your Max, to check if I can without glitches add to your splines their new.

And you've got the latest updates for Max? Install them here just in case link off.sayta. I expect that you have a 3ds Max and not 3ds Max Design, Autodesk 3ds Max 2013 Product Update 6: (32bit) http://knowledge.autodesk.com/sites/default/files/file_downloads/3dsMax2013_PU06_32-bit.msp (64bit ) http://knowledge.autodesk.com/sites/default/files/file_downloads/3dsMax2013_PU06_64-bit.msp the Autodesk 3ds the Max the Design 2013 Product Update 6: (32bit) http://knowledge.autodesk.com/sites/default/ files is / file_downloads / 3dsMaxDesign2013_PU06_32-bit.msp (64bit) http://knowledge.autodesk.com/sites/default/files/file_downloads/3dsMaxDesign2013_PU06_64-bit.msp

This is a test file http://files.mail.ru/E133DFBFB7A24D328A2395B4031F0D26. I do the normal Max, 32bit. At the expense of updating I do not know, but, in principle, the recently installed program itself, in September. As your links can not be renewed. Maybe this is due to the fact that I work on a Mac, but because through Parallels ...

Your file is opened normally and everything in it works well. Try to put the last Service Pack off.stranitsy: http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/3ds-max/downloads#?rows=10&sort=score

I noticed that by increasing the model does not snap to grid, Jota built-bound Grid Points. It is said that to get high-quality rendering geometry is very important.

yura. Which grid ??? A very important question indeed ... Judging by your screenshots, you drew splines and try to tie them to build. Snap to Grid - this is snapping to the grid, that is binding to maksovskoy grid, which is initially in the form of squares in the box. This Home grid, domestic grid in a literal translation, which can also be customized. If you draw the splines a grid, then bind to it will no longer be bound to the grid (maksovskoy by default), and will be binding on the tops of objects, in this case, your splines. Why not tie max construction of the grid (painted) in your case? Yes, everything is simple. Binding, but not to the splines and their intersections, and to the native grid Max, who in fact is only a helper object. Turn off the Snap to Grid (grid) and turn on the snap on the tops or intersections, immediately begin to build correctly. 😉
