3D Asset Details

The choice of this homemade lamp in the form of pumpkin with a face is not random. It comes from a legend about a miserly smith Jack, who made devil angry, which did not take him to his death after a joke. God also closed the road to heaven for Jack for his stinginess. After that, Jack was forced to wander the world, did not make it to heaven or hell and carry in his hands the pumpkin with charcoal inside, which were thrown there by the devil. Since that time, the pumpkin with the burning charcoal inside symbolizes Halloween. It's called Jack lantern.

3d model of Jack decoration is photorealistic, its shape and texture were made of real pumpkin, specially purchased, cut and photographed as a source of reference for this 3d model. Pumpkin 3d model, as well as blossoms and a tail on it were mapped using Unwrap UVW. Correct mapping completely covers the entire model, both outside and inside the pumpkin. For more realism, the pumpkin insides not just textured, but also made with Sub Surface Scattering shader. All the textures come in a separate archive, so before you import a model into your software, do not forget to place the all textures to the prepared for this folder. Often, such a folder is a root directory with the model file.
