Realistic 3d model of traditional Halloween pumpkin. This holiday attribute is an usual orange pumpkin, freed from the inner pulp and seeds, with cut grinning face in front. Cuts of smile, eyes and nose are made in the walls of the pumpkin and cut through it. This was done intentionally to put into a pumpkin the candle or a light bulb that glows inside, creating a festive, slightly intimidating atmosphere. It is the true atmosphere of Halloween on the eve of All Saints' Day, which marks the transition to the dark half of the year.
The choice of this homemade lamp in the form of pumpkin with a face is not random. It comes from a legend about a miserly smith Jack, who made devil angry, which did not take him to his death after a joke. God also closed the road to heaven for Jack for his stinginess. After that, Jack was forced to wander the world, did not make it to heaven or hell and carry in his hands the pumpkin with charcoal inside, which were thrown there by the devil. Since that time, the pumpkin with the burning charcoal inside symbolizes Halloween. It's called Jack lantern.
